  • New soundcard/interface on the market – Balance!

Propellerhead from Sweden have added their own soundcard to their arsenal. First off you may find yourself drooling slighty! Wipe that up and continue reading.

Initially we would like to say its probably the nicest looking soundcard we have seen. Matt black sleek design with 2 big volume knobs. One for your main monitor output and one for your headphone output. The unit sits on your desk on an angle making it user friendly and ergonomic. Hmmmm, so what right? Well if you spend hours upon hours in the studio it all adds up to ease of use! And its dead simple to use. We run Macs here at DMC and i just plugged it into our IMAC and selected Balance in preferences. Now just turn up the monitor knob and make music.

The Balance interface comes with a variety of inputs. 2 xlr inputs, 2 Guitar inputs, 4 line inputs & 2 balanced outputs. These inputs and available to choose on the face of the unit. So having all your inputs plugged in at one time and simply choosing the what input you are about to record in to. SIMPLE!

For Reason users. Balance has the license dongle built in so no need for a USB dongle, making a spare USB input available. Also Balance comes bundled with a copy Reason Essentials software.

Balance works with any DAW such as Logic, Ableton, Cubase etc.

Balance is available at DMC for $449 and comes with Reason Essentials. Come see it at DMC Records.
